Welcome to Babsy!
Dear interested parties, parents and guardians, child carers and babysitters, supporters of topics related to family, childcare, family support, work-life balance, equal opportunities, fairness, social issues, sustainability, integration, intercultural exchange, innovation and warmth:
We are pleased to welcome you to our loving and committed community! The charitable association “Babsy” was founded in 2018 to offer families reliable and low-threshold care organization assistance for their children. We have set out to build a safe and simple marketplace for families and caretakers to search for and find each other. Our goal is to create a safe, happy and inspiring place where verified users can build their childcare network. Today the Babsy-App is live and making a difference in our community, as we continue to develop the platform.
At Babsy we are working on a variety of other new projects, programs and activities that aim to make the world of childcare simpler and fairer. Our projects are diverse and directed to wards the needs and interests of families of all shapes and sizes.
Our hope is that Babsy is not just a place where you find childcare solutions, but also find a place of connection. We encourage parents, sitters and anyone interested to get to know us, join in actively participating in Babsy projects, and bringing childcare innovation to life.
Best wishes, your Babsy-Team

About Babsy
Founded in September 2018 as a small association of 2 women who had a vision, it was always about solving parents’ problems in finding suitable childcare and at the same time offering a great opportunity for sitters.
With more reinforcement, the topics grew and meanwhile the aim is to make the entire childcare system a bit fairer and to contribute to making the world of childcare a simpler and at the same time safe world.
Babsy is also politically committed to more fairness for families, easier administration for parents and sitters, and the creation of more jobs for carers.
Our Commitment

Vision
The Babsy Association envisions a society in which families have reliable access to childcare at all times, regardless of the time of day, day of the week, or individual life situation. We strive for a community characterized by solidarity, responsibility, and mutual support. Childcare should not be seen as a gap or a problem, but as a natural expression of togetherness and social cohesion.
Our Mission
Babsy is an association that meets the needs of families and childcare professionals in the digital age by developing sustainable and inclusive projects and using modern technologies to create safe and practical platforms for community and exchange. Babsy connects families and verified sitters through a secure app, closes childcare gaps, and promotes relief, work–life balance, and solidarity.

Our babysitter arrived on time and the care with our son worked well. She told us that it was fun and that he had behaved very well. When we got back, even my daughter, who was traveling with us, wanted to play with the babysitter.
Although my wife and I were a bit skeptical at first, it was a good experience and everything worked out well!

Balancing a job and family is one of my daily challenges as a mother. Organizing unplanned events is extremely stressful for me and often overturns all of my planning. I hardly have time for myself, even if it’s just an appointment with the hairdresser.
The problem with the existing range of childcare options is that they are not tailored to my needs. With Babsy this is now possible and that’s why I think it’s a great thing.

On Saturday, on the way home from the ski vacation, I received a text message from my nanny at 11:00 a.m. that she would be out for a week.
- At 12:57 I wrote Babsy.
- At 14:46 we had Jovana in our home.
I had met her at the “Meet & Greet the Babsys” event before, which was comforting. If I hadn’t known her a little, it would have been a bit strange for me. So I think it’s great that there was a kind of speed dating with the babysitters that made it possible to feel at ease.
